Mr. Jinnan (Marco) LaiFounder, CEO and Director

Mr. Marco Lai is the Founder and CEO of LIZHI and has served as the Director since January 2019. He is responsible for LIZHI’s strategic planning, business development, and overall management. Before founding LIZHI, Mr. Lai was a successful entrepreneur of public praise with a strategic vision in China’s internet industry. He founded 183.cn, a social network for migrant workers, and Guangzhou Mowang Information Technology Co., Ltd.. Before embarking on his business career, Marco was a radio host with a deep understanding of online audio.

LIZHI launched the vertical podcast platform LIZHI Podcast (LIZHI BOKE in Chinese).


LIZHI was listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market. LIZHI launched TIYA in the U.S. market and started tapping into the in-car audio market in the same year.


LIZHI upgraded its brand name from “LIZHI FM” to “LIZHI”.
